The Company

Our client is a well established and Events organisation with a range of consumer and business exhibitions. They require an Exhibition Sales Executive to work on an already established successful show. Their innovative exhibitions provide exhibitors with the opportunity top place their products and services directly in the hands of potential customers.

The Role

Working on their events your role will be to sell exhibitor space and sponsorship opportunities to business customers throughout the UK. Working in a team based environment you will be responsible for self-sourcing new customers, generating new business from an existing customer base and managing event plans. This will involve contact with key decision makers over the phone. You will be responsible for working to set revenue targets, key performance indicators and deadlines.

The Candidate

To be considered for the role you need to have experience and a strong track record of developing new business and managing accounts from within any events, advertising or media sector (magazine, newspaper, publishing, outdoor, radio, exhibitions, etc)

Alternatively you will have strong experience and track record of selling any product such as office furniture, office supplies, franking machines, IT equipment, IT products, training, telecoms, financial products, digital print services, home improvements or a background in recruitment consultancy. You will have a solid understanding of the sales process. You will be commercially aware, motivated and enthusiastic. You will have the tenacity to drive sales forward coupled with a real desire to work in the exhibition industry. You will be PC literate, creative, ambitious, articulate, proactive and quick thinking.
