An exciting opportunity exists to join our growing Scottish charity which offers specialist assessment, advice, information and support to families affected by Huntington’s disease (HD) and professionals involved in their care.
Following a strategic review of our fundraising department and strategy we are putting together a new fundraising team and if you are an excellent fundraiser with a proven track record in income generation, highly motivated and can work well as part of a team you could be the person we are looking for.
In this multi-skilled role, you will work within your team to deliver the fundraising strategy for the charity. One part of your job will see you putting together well written trust and grant applications and so you must have good written communication skills, be well organised and have an ability to represent the challenges facing people living with Huntington’s disease. We will provide all the training you need about HD. In this varied role, you will also help develop and deliver community fundraising events and experience in event management and working with volunteers will enable you to do this. You should have relevant experience in fundraising, marketing or be able to demonstrate transferrable experience and skills from another field.
A clean current driving licence and use of a car is essential.
A certificate or diploma in fundraising from the Institute of Fundraising or an equivalent body is desirable.
