Senior IT Auditor Edinburgh   Excellent Package

My client has a new requirement for a Senior IT Auditor to join their leading, blue chip organisation.

This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious individual to play a significant part in the development of the Audit department.

Your key responsibilities will include:

·Acting as lead auditor on assignments
·Planning and preparation of monthly, annual and long-range schedule of audits
·Responsible for the end to end audit cycle in relation to specific audit assignments
·Planning and undertaking IT reviews and audits, identifying issues and risks and devising solutions
·Providing assistance for business continuity and specific risk workshops
·Assisting and supporting the performance of Sarbanes Oxley specific audit and testing
·Ad hoc training: act as departmental trainer on specific expert matters, and carry out on the job training and team training
·Relationship Management: develop and maintain relationships and act as a port of call for IT related queries

Requirements include:

·Previous experience of end to end delivery of IT audits, preferably within Industry and Commerce
·Strong communication skills
·Ability to liaise and build relationships at all levels
·Knowledge and experience of a range of applications, processes
·A recognised professional qualification such as CISSP, CCNA, CCSP or ACA who has moved into IT audit
