DEVELOPMENT ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE     ABERDEEN     £DOE

Due to success and expansion, our client, a leading name within the commercial insurance broking marketplace is opening an office in Aberdeen.  They are looking for several members of staff including development account executives, sales executives, senior brokers and account handlers.

The role of development account executive will be to retain and develop existing clients and actively participate in the winning of new clients. You will ensure that quality standards and client service levels are maintained and, where possible, improved to achieve the optimum results.

Key Accountabilities:

• Using your knowledge of the underwriting market to obtain insurance cover for clients at an optimum price

• Operate to company client service models

• Design and implement appropriate programme and servicing solutions for clients and prospects

• Liaise with clients/associates/insurers and others to respond to client queries

• Identify primary budget holders and decision makers at the client, establish and maintain relationships with these people

• Lead and manage the client service planning, including renewal

• Develop and maintain production pipeline from existing clients and new prospects

• Ensure compliance with local procedures and compliance regulations

Skills & Experience Required;

• Comprehensive understanding of the corporate/commercial insurance marketplace

• Be confident liaising with clients at board room level and negotiating strongly with insurers

• Extensive knowledge of commercial insurance products

• Proven track record within a commercial insurance sales  environment.
