On the back of recent successes, there is now a current opportunity for a Surveyor.
You will be responsible for conducting initial surveys of client properties (roofs) and populate accurate reports template and recommendations for actions (RCI)
SPECIALISED KNOWLEDGE; EXPERTISE AND/OR ABILITIES CONSISTENTLY REQUIRED:-
1.Demonstrable experience of accessing roofing for the purpose of conducting surveys showing extensive usage of risk assessment methodology for lone workers.
2. Commercial acumen is essential as is the ability to understand customer requirements.
3. Taking leadership at the surveying stage of REALM delivery with the ability to collate accurate site measurements and information in order to populate template reports for REALM colleagues.
4. Presentation, communication, reporting writing, technical and customer focus competencies are essential.
5. Clean driving licence and self organisation are also prime requirements.
KEY RESULT AREAS: 1. Demonstrate a zero tolerance of accidents and incidents whilst working as a lone worker.
2. Identification of asbestos containing products/materials through consultation with client in the fabric of the building and carry out safe sample selection for laboratory analysis. Advise client on asbestos register/survey required.
3. Develop an organised and prioritising surveying practice within the REALM territory.
4. Prioritise, plan and conduct surveys in an effective manner to meet customer commitments.
5. Ensure accuracy of measurements, data collection, photographic/video footage for inclusion in survey reports and REALM system.
6. Collection of core samples and reinstatement of sample area to ensure integrity of roof.
7. Effective identification and location of roof areas, ability identify roof limits (I.e. fragile roofs, san criteria), accurate identification of existing roofing materials using knowledge of BUFR and cladding systems.
8. Accurate processing of data including initial client reports and population of REALM system.
9. Liaise with the customer to fully understand their requirements using a professional and courteous approach which protects the customer confidentiality and their annual budgets.
