Operations Manager Glasgow   £ Competitive

My client, a leading Financial Services organisation in Glasgow are currently recruiting for an Operations Manager within their Cash function.

As a result of growth and an aggressive change plan, this position has emerged to oversee the Cash In and Cash Out functions. This is a high risk role which is subject to strict checking where payments must be signed off for various different payment types across both teams and ensure all controls and procedures are being followed which is critical as any processing errors could result in a potential risk event and be detrimental to the client.

In addition to the above the successful candidate will also strive to drive performance in the team, and become part of the larger move into a Global Payments Model.

A clear understanding of investment operations is critical to the position in addition to strong people management experience. Candidates with Banking operations experience at this level are highly desirable given the nature of the business
