PR Executive Edinburgh   up to £23,000

Role:  

Our client a well established dynamic, government funded organisation is seeking a PR Executive to join them

Reporting directly to the Marketing Manager you will be responsible for supporting thepro-active communications activities of the Scottish programmes to ensure that all company initiatives are having a positive impact across the media.  In this role you will develop and deliver PR material for external publications across both on and offline.  You will also maintain an in house database and regularly update marketing fact sheets 

As you will be the first point of contact for all PR, press, media and communication enquires it is vital that you work closely with colleagues in Scotland and the communication team in London to ensure you are delivering a consistent message. It is also important that you develop strong working relationships with key journalists and organisations to maximise PR coverage.  Another key part of this role will be to evaluate all PR activity and to monitor press releases

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of working within media relations.   Experience of building and maintaining relationships with journalists is key.  As is the ability to write compelling communications.  Strong communication, presentation and organisational skills are essential
