MOTOR UNDERWRITER                     GLASGOW                                £doe

Our client, a respected insurance company based in Glasgow city centre is seeking an additional motor underwriter for their growing team to underwrite new and existing motor business in accordance with company objectives. 

Duties

·         To underwrite new and existing motor business

·         Develop strong relationships with new and existing brokers and clients

·         Support the development of cross class business opportunities

·         Participate in the review and analysis of the portfolio to identify progress towards client plan.

Applicant

·        Strong understanding of underwriting commercial motor insurance risks

·         Strong technical expertise

·         Good negotiation skills

·         Good interpersonal and communication skills

·         Market awareness and broker development acumen
