Finance Manager Glasgow   £45,000 to £50,000 per annum, plus 15% bonus, plus life assurance

Due to a period of positive change, an entrepreneurial organisation with a strong Scottish presence is currently looking to appoint an ”operationally minded” Finance Manager to play a key role in the daily running of this growing and evolving organisation.

Reporting to the Finance Director, responsibilities are wide ranged with both an operational and financial focused to deliver the key objective of driving the business to maximise gross margin. This will incorporate:

• Management information to support the Executive Team;
• Weekly and monthly financial analysis,
• Annual budgeting quarterly forecasting and driving the operational team to deliver against forecasts and budgets;
• Track margin performance against commercial models developed during business acquisition
• Analysis of monthly management accounts and ownership of operational finance reviews to identify opportunities and risks and driving operations to ensure we consistently hit our numbers.
• Involvement in contractual negotiation stages for existing and new business.
• Develop and maintain relationships with various budget holders
• Research into competitor performance
• Develop and maintain relationships with various other departments within the business
• Supervising and development of two Senior Financial Analyst 

The ideal candidate will be qualified (CA/CIMA/ACCA) with experience of a customer focused environment.  You will have a strong understanding of the operational and financial drivers behind the industry, exceptional analysis skills and a strong budgeting background. You will also be a strong man-manager and an excellent influencer and communicator.
