Deputy Training & Development Manager
Hours of work: 37hrs per week
Salary: From £25,819 per annum
Based: Daldorch House School & Continuing Education Centre, Catrine
Reporting to the Training & Development Manager, the Deputy will have responsibility for assisting the Manager in providing a professional, effective and efficient training department.
The successful candidate will be required to:
· Deputise for the Training & Development Manager in their absence
· Manage the SVQ approved centre
· Assist with the planning, development, delivery and evaluation of training & induction programmes
· Work with management to identify training needs, and develop an annual training plan
· Manage the ongoing qualifications process
· To line manage staff within the department
· Assist management in ensuring the service meets Investors in People standards.
Essential skills & experience:
· SVQ level 3 - Health & Social Care or Children & Young People (Level 4 desirable)
· D32/33/A1 Assessor Award with a Health & Social Care background (D34/V1 desirable)
· Up to date understanding of management of an SQA Approved centre
· Experience of work in a social care background
· Up to date experience of training & development
· Up to date knowledge of care practice, legislation and policy
· Confident IT skills, including MS Office & information management systems.
