We are looking to recruit experienced Service Advisor/Receptionist to work in our busy Service Reception in our multi-franchise Dealership in Kilmarnock. This is a full time permanent position, Monday to Friday, 8.00am to 6 pm plus rotational Saturdays from 8.30 am to 12.30pm.

 Main Purpose of Job

• To deal with customer requirements for the service and repair of their motor vehicles in an efficient and courteous manner, ensuring a high standard of customer service.

• To organise the loading of the workshop in an efficient manner to ensure efficient utilisation of workshop capacity

• To carry out customer follow-up and prospecting activities to maintain and build the volume of work within the workshop and provide the sale of accessories, parts and new vehicles
• To upsell on essential items

The Person

The successful applicant will have drive, determination along with excellent customer service skills, be a good listener and have the ability to interpret our customer’s needs to ensure that the required work is carried out by the Workshop.  Good time management, telephone, keyboard and selling up skills along with the ability to work under pressure are also an essential part of this role.  Ideally, the candidate will have experience in ADP/Kerridge Rev 8, however, this is not essential and training will be given.  A full driving licence is preferred but not essential.
