Manufacturing Team Leader Ayrshire East   £25,361 - £26,993

Our client a large manufacturing organisation is looking for 4 Shift Supervisors / Team Leader for a 2 year contract.

Job purpose is to supervise and co-ordinate the production activities and processes within area of responsibility, to ensure that sidled requirements are achieved, in accordance with quality standards whilst ensuring compliance to relevant health & safety procedures.

Main Responsibilities

• Co Lead the planning of shift production targets and communicate key goals and objectives to production personnel
• Record hourly / daily shift actual outputs
• Collate any additional information on if shift targets not being met
• Highlighting any breakdowns or quality variance in order to meet 100% OTIF
• Ensure correct material tooling and equipment is available for shift employees
• Motivate employees and develop training requirements
• Promote 6s plan throughout areas of responsibility
• Lead weekly group meetings with production personnel
• Complete & authorise pass outs, absence form and SAP reconciliation forms

Skills & Experience Required

• HNC in Mechanical or Electrical Discipline
• Good Communication & Interpersonal Skills
• Customer Focused
• Capable of using own initiative and decision making
• Must have 2 years manufacturing and producing experience at a supervisory level preferable in a TS16949 and QHS1880 accredited environment
