Job Summary

Salary: £30,380.87 - £34,712.47 per annum
Hours: 35 hours per week
Location: Galashiels
We are seeking a qualified Social Worker to join the Criminal Justice Team, currently based at the Galashiels Office. You will undertake the full range of criminal justice social work services including preparing reports for Court, supervising offenders subject to Probation, Drug Testing and Treatment and Statutory Throughcare. You will have the opportunity to deliver structured one to one programmes and to work collaboratively with colleagues from other services and agencies, and will be involved in the development of service provision and improving service performance.

This is an exciting time within the service as you will be able to help review and re-shape the service in anticipation of new initiatives, legislation and standards and the successful candidate will be expected to contribute fully to this process.
