Senior Inspection Engineer Falkirk (Town)   £30.00 - 35.00 per hour

Eden Scott’s client is a world-leading chemical company. We now require an experienced Senior Inspection Engineer for their plant in Grangemouth. This is an immediately available opportunity, on a long-term contract basis only.

Key Duties:

• Define, schedule, and execute mechanical inspections to achieve full compliance with legal requirements, site inspection standards and business goals for asset integrity, costs and productivity.
• Develop inspection plans to match legal requirements, site standards, and plant availabilities.
• Certify all Written Schemes of Examination (within limits of letter of authority) for the area to confirm that they meet legislative requirements and site inspection and integrity standards.
• Produce and implement written schemes of examination, perform physical inspections and produce inspection reports. 
• Recommend repairs to restore condition and assign inspection intervals to achieve legal compliance and business integrity goals.
• Approve all inspection reports for the area to confirm that they meet legislative requirements and site inspection and integrity standards.

The successful candidate will be educated to at least NNC/HND level, and may be degree qualified. In addition, it is essential that you have some years’ experience in mechanical inspection, from the oil/gas/petrochemical industries. As this is a senior role, it is essential that you can communicate well at all levels, and display a teamworking ethos.
