Quality Technician Dunfermline   £26000 per annum + Pension, etc

Our client is an advanced applied technology company that provides engineered services and equipment for customers who operate in marine, space and other harsh environments. They are truly a global player and their products are marketed worldwide to oil and gas companies, government agencies, telecommunications, aerospace and marine engineering.

The Candidate / Role:



They are looking to add a number of Quality Technicians to there team in line with their commitment to providing the highest quality possible for their clients.

Candidates should have the following experience:

• Previous experience working in a highly demanding Quality Assurance/Control role

• Good working knowledge of ISO 9001:2008

• Experience in planning, executing and reporting internal and process type based audits

• Previous experience in creating, investigating and reporting product and process related Non Conformance Reports a distinct advantage

• Ability to conduct root cause analysis to identify the root cause(s) of product and process non conformance

• Ability to accurately compile product test reports

• Previous experience conducting Incoming Materials Verification using various different types of inspection and measurement equipment

• Ability to interpret complex component specifications and drawings

• Previous experience in calibrating gages to company and national calibration standards

• Ability to work in a small team environment on a rotating shift basis

• Literate in the use of Microsoft Word and Excel

• Qualified in mechanical or another engineering related discipline

• Willing to travel (UK only) to perform or assist in supplier witness test activities

Shift Pattern:

This role involves working on a 3 shift rotational system: 1 week dayshift, 1 week backshift and 1 week nightshift all on a Mon - Fri basis.
