Summary:

You would join our team of specialist buyers initially managing the laboratory consumables and chemicals spend. We have a full training and career development program.

 Key Responsibilities:

• Scour the market to find the very best solutions for the scientist’s sourcing requests.
• Negotiate prices with suppliers.
• Draw conclusions and make decisions based on your market intelligence, then present your solutions to the client.
• Support supply chain projects to improve our client’s experience, streamline our supply base and reduce costs.
• Support new customer implementation processes.
• Manage the customer request interface on our CRM system.
• Expedite backorders to ensure our clients have the products they need.

Experience required:

• You will be a high achieving Life Science graduate having gained a 2:1 or above preferably with some laboratory experience.
• You will be outgoing and sociable and enjoy working with people.
• You will be a highly motivated, ambitious and keen to learn new skills.
• You will have excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
• You will want to work in a high energy small team.
• You will want to develop yourself into the role and grow with the company.
