The role
You will have a challenging, dynamic and rewarding role and will be effectively responsible for managing the QHSE systems for the site operations
Your duties and responsibilities will include;
(a) Ensuring a robust and effective QHSE system is in place at all times to meet all relevant requirements
(b) Ensuring QHSE systems meet company, client and all regulatory requirements
(c) Maintain and develop the QHSE systems to ensure compliance with all relevant on-going requirements
(d) Supplier liaison, development and relationship building
(e) Liaison with internal and external stakeholders on all QHSE systems requirements
(f) Liaison with all external bodies, as appropriate, on ensuring regulatory compliance
(g) Work with all relevant stakeholders on Continuous Improvement of site processes and procedures
(h) Maintain all site documentation, schedules and associated documentation in respect of QHSE requirements
You will currently be, or recently have been, an experienced QHSE Engineer or Manager and have proven experience in developing and managing QHSE systems, processes and procedures. You will have led and managed the QHSE function within a Manufacturing environment - experience within the Rail industry is essential. NEBOSH (or equivalent) will also be a requirement for the post.
