Materials Co-ordinator Ayrshire North   £0 to £10 per annum

An excellent opportunity exists for an experienced Materials Co-ordinator to join our client’s well established manufacturing organisation on an interim basis for approximately 6 – 9 months. You will be responsible for working between the purchasing and engineering departments co-ordinating the materials and engineering spares through the use of SAP / MRP system.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Ordering and expediting materials in line with required levels

• Creating production work orders using the planning system in SAP

• Proactively manage continuity of supplies and spares as requested by the engineering department

• Maintain accurate records and ensure SAP /MRP system is populated using available information

• Ensure parts are received in systems and stock levels are accurate at all times

• Provide accurate reports as requested

The successful candidate will have a demonstrable track record within a similar role and will have working knowledge and experience of SAP / MRP. Excellent communication and organisational skills are imperative and you will be IT literate. This is a fantastic chance to work within a challenging and fast paced environment.
