A rare opportunity has arisen within Margaret Hodge Recruitment for a Telesales Executive to join our successful East Kilbride team. This is a part time, permanent role.
- As part of our organisations growth plan, the role will be key in researching, contacting (through telesales activity) and winning new business for both side of our business, temporary and permanent recruitment.
- You will be tasked with making daily sales calls, utilising our established and extensive database, adding new leads to the database and following up on all information sent out to potential customers.
- Based in the East Kilbride Branch, you will target recruitment decision makers across a wide range of diverse business sectors, throughout Lanarkshire and Glasgow areas.
- You will build on our market and competitor knowledge, identifying businesses who have a current or future recruitment need, opening up opportunities by selling the features and benefits of our organisation and our first class recruitment services.
- Working closely with the Consultants, you will liaise daily with the team and Manager on your progress and any opportunities you are opening up for client meetings to be attended (by you and/or the Consultants).
- You will work to a specific sales plan and be measured through weekly KPIs.
- Involvement in seasonal mailshots to specific market sectors and telephone follow up.
SALARY & COMMISSION
- Excellent Basic Salary (depending on background and experience).
- Commission based reward scheme, based on results.

HOURS
Ideally Monday - Friday. Approx. 22-25 hours per week.
(some flexibility - may consider spreading hours over 3 or 4 days)
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
- You must be able to provide evidence of your successful track record within sales, preferably gained with in a commercial business to business telesales, field sales or recruitment background.
- You should be able to demonstrate a creative & innovative approach to sales within the current challenging market conditions.
- As the role involves meetings with prospect and existing customers, at their premises, therefore a full UK driving license is essential.
- As this is a people driven role, where long term business relationships are crucial, you will be posses first class interpersonal skills and be comfortable dealing with business decision makers at all levels.
