Our client, a market leading service organisation, is seeking a qualified Chartered Accountant to fulfil a new role created due to continuing expansion. Reporting to the Financial Director and as part of the main Board, you will manage and monitor all financial aspects of the overall business globally. Specifically, this will include:
Responsible for all statutory accounts, corporate tax and regulatory reporting requirements.
Preparing annual budgets and developing long term financial plans in conjunction with managers across the organisation.
Treasury and cash flow management.
Implementing new processes, systems and structures to support business growth.
Leading projects and developing management information systems.
Reporting financial performance to the board and making recommendations for improvements.
Liaising with commercial teams and managing relationships with banks, auditors and tax advisors.
Managing and developing the central finance team.
To succeed in this role, you will be a proven Financial Controller on the upward curve of your career and with a demonstrable track record of success to date. You will possess a strong technical accounting background, ideally developed in a large accountancy practice, coupled with a genuine commercial flair to identify and maximise new business opportunities.
You will be comfortable operating at Board level and interfacing regularly with internal/external stakeholders. As such, you will possess excellent interpersonal and influencing skills along with the natural gravitas required to operate effectively at this level. A background in a similar global, entrepreneurial business environment will be highly regarded.
