Financial Business Analyst Edinburgh   £30000 - £35000 per annum

Our client is a dynamic ever growing organisation based in Edinburgh. With a new structure and business focus this is an excellent opportunity for an Analyst to join a company that can provide future opportunity's due to their succession planning.

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual with excellent SAS and/ or SQL programming experience.

• You will support senior management in the marketing budget setting process by analysing our client's Marketing and customer development activity's and provide delivery of post campaign analysis.

• You will provide reports and insight to measure success and identify areas for campaign improvement.
• Analysis of customer trends and behaviours, identifying opportunities for business improvement - both pre-determined projects and ad-hoc analysis requests.
• Maintain a high level of personal understanding of available data and programming tools to provide the business with high quality solutions to business issues.

KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS NEEDED

• 2 years' business analysis experience
• 2 years' programming/analysis (using SAS, SQL or equivalent)
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office products, especially MS Access
• Graduate with Economics, Mathematics, Statistics or Computing degree preferred
• Knowledge of econometric modelling preferable
• Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders
• Strong inter-personal skills to manage day-to-day relationships with internal customers at all levels and a variety of external agencies
