Our client is one of the UK’s most respected and best known brands – with a well deserved reputation for quality and innovation in the home improvements market sector built up over more than 40 years. An opportunity has now arisen for a Customer Service Advisor to join their team, which will be moving to exciting new premises at the beginning of October.
For this role our client is looking to recruit someone with strong communication skills, a great telephone manner, good organisational skills and a passion for exceptional Customer Service. The full time hours are worked on a rotational shift pattern, Monday to Friday, 8am-4pm, 9am-5pm and 10am-6pm.
As a Customer Service Advisor, you will be responsible for managing and controlling customer orders, from initial registration through to completion, whilst providing an outstanding service to customers. For the right person, this role may offer scope for progression in the Company.
Specifically, your duties will include:
- Responding to, and resolving customer enquiries, by telephone, fax, mail or email.
- Co-ordinating all service calls and liaising with engineers
- Registering purchase agreements and resolving registration queries with management
- Booking installation and service appointments and diary planning
- Ensuring customers are kept informed of order progressing if delays occur
- Administration relating to contracts
To be considered for this position, you must have:
- Customer Service experience
- Great communication skills
- Administration experience, including excellent letter writing skills
- Computer literacy
- An excellent telephone manner
