Our client, an international bioscience company is seeking to recruit a Product Engineering Associate to join its expanding team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and maintaining production records, specifications and MRP systems for the manufacture of GMP products at our clients facilities. The role involves working closely with both internal and external customers to ensure successful manufacture

Key accountabilities include:

· Providing assessments of feasibility

· Generating quotations of manufacturing costs

· Liaising with other departments to drive manufacture of product and ensure delivery dates are met

· Liaising with internal sales people and external customers to ensure manufacturing requirements for customer specified products are accurately transcribed and can be compliantly achieved

· Creating and maintaining Item Masters, Bills of Materials and batch records for new and existing products on SAP

· Ensuring that processes adopted for customer products optimise the manufacturing capabilities of the site

· Utilising the CRM database to provide information to internal customers

· Operating in accordance with appropriate regulatory guidelines

·Identifying areas for improvement and co-ordinate improvements compliantly

· Implementing global initiatives at the site

· Facilitating the smooth running of the department

The ideal candidate will be at least Degree or equivalent qualified in a Chemical or Biological Science discipline and must have extensive experience of working within a cGMP manufacturing environment. Some experience of SAP and project management is required with knowledge of batch processing, aseptic dispensing,product Filtration and BPC filling preferred.

The candidate must have excellent written and oral communication skills, be self motivated and be able to complete projects with minimal direction. The ability to Plan and Organise with Attention to Detail & Accuracy is essential.
