This senior management post represents an exciting and excellent career development opportunity to manage and further enhance a range of service areas in the newly formed Directorate Regeneration & Environment.

The Directorate forms part of a new Corporate Management structure designed to realise further organisational improvements following a period of success which has seen Inverclyde Council transform its corporate direction and operational effectiveness.

The post has a wide ranging and interesting remit with responsibility for all aspects of Environmental & Commercial services.

To be successful, you will need to demonstrate relevant experience and success at a senior level and have a genuine commitment to collegiate working. In depth experience at operational management level will be essential, as is team building, strong negotiating skills and programme/project management ability.

We are looking for someone who can further shape and influence the development of the Services to fully meet targets in a way which also improves standards and enhances the experience of service users.
