Our client a specialist in Debt Management Services is looking for a Team Leader within their Customer Services Department. The position is to lead, motivate and develop team members to achieve a range of performance objectives & targets for negotiating repayments.

Hours of Work

  • This role is a 35 hour working week;
  • Four week rotation
  • Shifts are; 8.00-15.30; 9.00-17.00; 11.00-19.00; 13.00-21.00 Saturday's 09.00-16.00

Key Responsibilities

  • Utilise MI to effectively manage team performance, read information on individual team member's key performance indicator's, being accountable for the preparation & distribution of report's to appropriate designates
  • Identify team member's strengths & weaknesses via call auditing & monthly reviews, providing regular feedback & coaching to develop team member's
  • Communicate effectively with team member's; conducting regular briefings to ensure client & business information is delivered in a timely & appropriate manner
  • Be responsible for delivery of Department's SLA's
  • Minimise potential complaints, buy demonstrating & encouraging standards of work & behaviours are compliant & fair, providing excellent customer service at all times
  • Adopting a hands on approach & accepting accountability for getting things done. Motivating & leading by example, adopting a positive "can-do" attitude
  • Mange team members' attendance and timekeeping
  • Conduct formal monthly reviews
  • Assist with recruitment of departmental personnel
  • Ensure the security of the department when lines are closed & operators leave the building
  • Work effectively as part of Ops Management team
  • Manage or assist in specialist campaigns or project work as and when required
  • Provide cover, as reasonable, in the absence of colleagues
  • Carry out any reasonable instructions as directed by your line manager
