Our client, a leading manufacturer in Biochemicals, is seeking to recruit a Quality Assurance Technician. The successful candidate will work as part of the Quality Department on an initial 6 month contract, with a possibility of extension to a permanent position.

The successful candidate will be responsible for review of finished product manufacturing records & performing the disposition process.

Essential Job Functions

  • Review final product manufacture to ensure compliance to cGMP
  • Releases final product for sale to fulfil ISO, EMEA, FDA & customer requirements
  • Utilise SAP
  • Implementing the deviation handling process
  • Risk assessment & root cause analysis
  • Compile document packages for customer specific products
  • Process improvement initiatives
  • Participate in E H&S responsibilities for all QA functions
  • Development of relevant procedures & update controlled docs
  • Audits (ISO, FDA etc)
  • Department training, development & performance of relevant training
  • Corrective action (CAPA) process & implementation of action plans
  • Contract Manufacturing Specifications, BOM's, Recipes & inspection plans

Qualifications

  • Essential - Degree in Biological or Chemical Science
  • Desirable - cGMP experience

The successful candidate will pay great attention to detail and have an accurate and methodical work ethic. You will also be computer literate, possess excellent organisational and problems solving skills.

It was also be desirable if you had practical experience, of performing in house training; awareness of COSHH and chemical handling practices & knowledge of manual handling.
