Specialist Supply Chain - Planning Ayrshire North   £25,000 - £28,000

Our client, a large biomedical company is looking for a Planning Specialist to maintain and operate the SAP-PP scheduling system for research and industrial products, to establish and communicate production schedules, within their Supply Chain.

Essential Job Functions

• SAP-PP Subject Matter Expert (SME)
• To maintain SAP master data and operating systems to ensure accurate MRP runs
• To establish forward schedules and capacity plans
• To provide schedule dates and lead times for Industrial custom products
• To interpret and challenge catalogue product forecast data, so that appropriate stick levels are maintained
• To be responsible for carrying out month end reporting and populating the data scorecards as required
• To be able to work on appropriate projects when applicable

Qualifications  / Skills Required

• degree or equivalent in an appropriate scientific or business discipline
• Minimum of 3 years experience in an SAP-PP production planning environment (1-2 years of which gained within a cGMP or similarly regulated environment)

The successful candidate will have the following:

• Structured approach to work, with the ability to meet deadlines
• Ability to manage inventory levels and supplier led times
• Ability to work cross-functionally
• Project Management & Supervisory experience are desirable
