Fife, located in the heart of Scotland between Edinburgh and Dundee, has a population of over 350,000 people and is one of Scotland’s fastest growing regions.

Crossgates Primary School nestles in the village of Crossgates in Fife, near to the town of Dunfermline. It has an open outlook to the south with views towards the Forth Bridges and was used as a Secondary school until 1964. Today the school caters for pupils of all denominations aged 3 - 12 years in the 2 nursery and 8 mainstream P1 - P7 classes and draws from the villages of Mossgreen, Halbeath and Crossgates itself as well as from outlying farming communities. The current school roll is 232 and 52 in the nursery.
