Residential Services are currently seeking to recruit two Night Shift Concierges within the University’s student residences.

This is a responsible role working with students. You should be able to work on your own and have experience in dealing with people. Working with the guidance and support of the Senior Concierge you will be responsible for day to day safety and security of residential accommodation for staff, students and other guests. As a frontline representative of Residential Services, the Concierge must maintain a smart appearance; be enthusiastic; be polite and have a flexible attitude to work.

Duties include general reception and desk services, security of the building and cleaning. Training in health and safety requirements and first aid will be provided if necessary.

Hours of work are 36 per week covering a 52 week rota. The Night Shift rota operates on a 12 hour rotating shift system, working from 7.00 pm to 7.00 am.
