Summary:
Exciting opportunity to make a real difference in a growing company supporting the Biotech sector in their bid to find life saving cures.
You would join our team of specialist buyers initially managing the laboratory equipment and service spend. We have a full training and career development program.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all sourcing requests for equipment and services which involves working with the scientist to map out their detailed requirements, scouring the market to find the very best solutions, negotiating prices with suppliers and helping the scientists make sourcing decisions.
- Sourcing requests could be anything from lab fridges through to highly specialised protein synthesizers. We source and negotiate brand new and 2nd hand equipment, lease options, spare parts and service contacts.
- Manage supply chain projects to improve our client’s experience, streamline our supply base and reduce costs.
- Support new customer implementation processes.
Experience required:
- You will be a high achieving Life Science graduate having gained a 2:1 or above with some laboratory experience.
- You will be outgoing and sociable and enjoy working with people.
- You will be highly motivated, ambitious and keen to learn new skills.
- You will have excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
- You will want to work in a high energy small team.
- You will want to develop yourself into the role and grow with the company.
