A large manufacturing company in East Ayrshire requires 2 Maintenance Mechanical Fitters within the Maintenance Department on a contract basis hoping to lead to a permanent job. This position will report to the Maintenance Manager.
Applicants must be time served in a mechanical engineering discipline and have experience in the troubleshooting and repair of production machines. Ideally the applicant will be qualified to a minimum of HNC or equivalent and have extensive experience in working with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
Hours are 37.5 hours a week. You may be required to work shifts and will be paid shift allowance of up to 50%.
