TSS Project Data Validation Testing Analyst Testing- (Based in Edinburgh)

Team Leader Data Validation Testing to execute the required test execution related to the build out of the Pricing utility across JPMorgan Worldwide Securities Services (WSS).  This role is a pivotal component within WSS Operations working with Fund Services Operations, Hedge Fund Services, PEFS, IOS Operations, Custody, Collateral, Broker Dealer and Security Lending.

The role of the Data Validation Testing Analyst will be to work closely with all key stakeholders, project managers, System Integrations team and technology, operations, product and segment partners to on board multiple subscribers 

Summary of Main Responsibilities

• Preparation of Data within Subscriber and CPC applications prior to Data Validation commencing.
• Execution of work stream plan of execution
• Preparation of Data within Subscriber and CPC applications prior to Data Validation commencing.
• Investigate price differences  price and FX rates - Test V Production using CPC application, WINS and Data Vendors.
• Identification of Defects with either Subscriber application, CPC, WINS or Vendor applications.
• Participate in lessons learnt for Tested release to enhance any future Data Validation

Experience:

• An experienced Pricing Analyst with excellent knowledge of Pricing policy
• Experience in Middle and or Back office for an Investment Manager or for an outsource Provider servicing Investment manager clients.
• Possibly a qualified accountant with experience in the provision of Investment and Fund accounting for Mutual and Institutional Funds.
• Understanding of key international accounting standards, particularly UK GAAP, US GAAP, IFRS and main European standards.
• Experience with pricing providers such as Bloomberg, FTID and Reuters
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
• Experience with Mercury Quality Centre - Test execution and Defect management
• Problem resolution and ability to assess risks/avoid issues
