POST: Inspector/Clerk of Works (Temporary for 12 Months)

REF: EN/110/10

GRADE: Grade 8

SALARY: £22,556 - £26,169 (£12.36 to £14.34 per hour)

HOURS: 35 per week

LOCATION: Speirsbridge Offices, Thornliebank

Main duties will include the provision of a multi-purpose inspection service of the Roads Network within the council. In addition to inspecting roads you will examine structures, road repairs and maintenance projects.

Candidates should have experience of working in a roads maintenance environment and be qualified to City and Guilds level, or equivalent, in a roads discipline. A full valid driving licence is essential.
