Principal Mechanical Design Engineer Aberdeen   £58500 - £60000 per annum + Pension + Other Benefits

Our client, an advanced manufacturing company that provides engineered services and hardware for customers who supply mechanical down hole, completion and intervention products to a global customer base. Working at their state of the art offices in Aberdeen and due to continued customer demand an exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Principal Mechanical Design Engineer. Responsibilities to include:

•Provide engineering leadership for highly qualified and experienced development engineers
•Support service engineers with product modification
•Prototype testing
•Lead cost reduction programmes
•Product design/tool lay out

The ideal candidate will have a background in mechanical engineering, be degree qualified and have proven experience in design/development, ideally with a background in down hole tools or hydraulics.
