Credit Controller / Collections Edinburgh   £16000 - £20000 + benefits package

An exciting new opportunity has arisen with one of our clients based on the west of Edinburgh. The role has come about as a result of the full credit control function being brought in house. This has resulted in the need to recruit a new team of credit controllers / collectors.

In terms of the day to day duties of the role, you will have to be able to hit the ground running in each of the below key area’s and be able to demonstrate your knowledge in each of these areas at interview.  The main purpose of the role is to maximise collcetions and recovery from our client’s customer base.

- Contacting customers in a pre-set order to maximise cash collected
- Engaging in the appropriate call structure while communicating with the customer
- Overcome customer obstacles so as to obtain maximum payment from them based on their ability to pay
- Negotiating payment plans with customers
- You will be expected to work a minimum number of accounts successfully on a daily basis
- Sharing knowledge and advice with colleagues to ensure exceptional standards of professional collections are adopted
- Experience in a collections / credit control of at least 2 years
