Shift Electrical Engineer Falkirk (Town)   £To c£26,000 inclusive

Company is a large manufacturing operation, part of a multi-site global business with a billion dollar turnover.  Due to benefit from substantial investment in the next couple of years, the site is a major player in its sector.

To support current production it requires an additional Maintenance Engineer.  You will be part of a team responsible for fault-finding, breakdown repair and preventative maintenance on the company’s and machinery, including processing equipment and material handling systems.  This will cover drives and motors, related control systems (including some PLC) and boards, and all related electrical equipment.

A formal apprenticeship as an Electrical Technician would be the ideal training; however you must have sufficient electrical maintenance experience (ideally in a heavy manufacturing environment) to cover maintenance on a shift as part of a two person (electrical and mechanical ) team.  All Electrical staff on site are 17th Edition, and this would be strongly preferred
