Being in industry leader in Operations and Maintenance, Design and Build Solutions, Management and Delivery and Treatment, Disposal and Recycling this the name as a world leader. Being one of the key entities in delivering clean water in Scotland this established name are currently looking to recruit a Process Engineer to work at one of their key sites in Edinburgh.
Reporting to the Process Commissioning Manager you will be responsible for:
Working on key Odour Control projects to minimise the effect on the Environment and the Clean Water treatment
Being part of a team that is working on Chemical Dozing projects that are currently underway on the site.
Producing Mass Balance equations for Chemical Dozing formulas
Writing process capacity assessments
Calculating process system requirements such as air requirements in an activated sludge plant
Providing conceptual design input, feasibility, mass balances and producing process flow diagrams
To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate the following:
BSc/HNC in Chemical Engineering
Previous experience working on a Wastewater treatment site or a Industrial treatment site.
Detailed understanding of Anaerobic and Aerobic Digestion systems
Understanding of Polymer chemistry
Detailed report writing skills
Producing mass balances equations and Process flow diagrams
Understanding of Chemical reactions involved in the treatment of Organic and In-Organic Waste
