We are currently looking for a number of highly driven and motivated individuals to work as part of a charity fundraising team working in and around Glasgow. This is a 13 week temporary to permanent role for a well established fundraising group which works for high profile charities across the UK. This highly successful group has raised £300 million for over 70 charities and their 1000-strong staff make a difference every day through fundraising, field marketing and telemarketing campaigns.

This position will involve fundraising by contacting potential donors in their own homes and discussing the benefits of contributing to well known charitable organisations by direct debit. The benefits are excellent, including competitive hourly rate of £7.00 per hour and an achievable additional £90 per week in bonus potential. The hours are 3.30pm till 9pm Monday to Friday in Summer and 3pm till 8.30pm in Winter. There is a 30 minute break in every shift. Full time staff work 5 days per week and part time staff work 3 days per week.

This is not a pushy sales role but involves having a conversation with potential donors on contributing to the charity and as such only those who are comfortable in an ethical sales position need apply. Full training is provided and applications are welcomed from all backgrounds.
The skills and attributes successful candidates will need to demonstrate are as follows:

• Good conversationalist, articulate and genuinely interested in people
• Experience of dealing with the general public
• Excellent rapport building skills
• An ethical approach to sales
• Good communication and listening skills
• Positive attitude and determination to succeed in a target based role
• Reliability and commitment
