My Client

My client offer electrical solutions and use well know Distributors across the UK. Due to continued success and growth, they are now looking to employ an Account Manager to continually build strong relationships with their clients.

The role

You will be responsible for managing a number of key client accounts (Distributors) who are located across Scotland and Northern England.

Responsibilities will include:
• Planning a 6 week journey plan to ensure key Distributors are visited on a regular basis.
• Visiting clients face to face across Scotland and Northern England, this may require over night stays.
• Building up relationship with Distributors and being first point of contact for all their queries.
• Offering support and guidance for merchandising the products in store.
• Ensuring Distributors have the correct point of sale.
• Ensuring Distributors have the correct stock levels of products.
• Dealing with all queries and complaints the Distributors may have.
• Influence Distributors to sell my clients products before any competitors.
• Sell promotional events to Distributors to maximise sales.
• Attend monthly meetings at my clients head office based in England.

The Candidate

• You will ideally have experience of working with retail outlets, merchandising or building relationships with customers.
• Strong influencing and negotiating skills are essential to this role.
• Candidates should be confident, passionate and have a charismatic nature.
• Willingness to travel and able to stay over night in hotels when required.
• Full clean driving licence is essential.

This successful candidate will benefit from a company car, fuel card, company mobile phone and all travel expenses covered. Interviews will commence week commencing 13th September 2010 and ideally candidates will be available to start shortly after that.
