Specialty Registrar (LAT) Aberdeen   Salary £29705 to £39300 per annum

Geriatric Medicine, Woodend Hospital, Eday Road, Aberdeen.

Full Time 40 hours per week.

This post is temporary until 2nd August 2011.

This post offers one of the best programmed training opportunities in the UK in General and Geriatric Medicine. Previous local holders of LAT ST3 posts have all gone on to procure full run-through training posts. Training will be based in Aberdeen between Woodend Hospital and Aberdeen Royal Infirmary. The successful candidate may also be allowed to develop a special interest. The post is temporary until 2nd August 2011.

The Postgraduate Dean confirms that these placements and/or programmes have the required Educational and Dean’s approval for dual accreditation.

Applicants must have completed Basic Specialty Training in Medicine and must hold MRCP Part 1 (UK) or the equivalent. Full registration with a licence to practise with the GMC is required. For more information visit www.gmc-uk.org.
