Freight Forwarder Aberdeen   circa £28,000, Dependent on experience

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Freight Forwarder to work with one of the worlds leading providers of logistics solutions.  Based in a rapidly expanding, progressive Aberdeen office you will provide logistical support to senior management and will deal with all aspects of multi modal freight forwarding. You will be an experienced forwarder with a proven track record preferably within the local market, furthermore, you will have the drive, charisma and personality to fit into a small but well established team in Aberdeen.

The successful applicant will be responsible for the following;

• Liaising daily with clients and customers bringing with you excellent customer service skills.
• Maintaining, issuing and preparing all relevant freight paperwork including imports, exports, customs, bills of lading / airway bills.
• Arranging and moving export cargo by Air, Road and Sea.
• Arranging all modes of transport including shipping and airlines
• Establish shipping schedules that meet field demands.
• Assist in any other logistics duties as and when required.

Ideally the successful candidate will have strong experience in the freight forwarding industry and will be adept at working as part of a team in a fast paced environment.  Knowledge of the Oil and Gas industry and a track record providing logistical support to this industry would also be highly advantageous.
