Salary: £18,231 - £19,928 Pro-rata You will work as part of the technician team primarily servicing the needs of the Chemistry and Physics Department.

With a minimum qualification of NC in Chemistry you must have a science background gained in either an educational environment or through laboratory work. It is essential that you have experience of handling chemicals and making up solutions.

You should have a flexible approach to meet the changing demands of school needs and be able to work on your own initiative. This is a 42 week part time post and you will work 5 days per week during term time and three weeks during the school holiday periods (pro rata dependant upon length of Maternity Leave). You will work 20 hours per week on a term time basis. This post is temporary until April 2011. Successful applicants for posts working with children or vulnerable adults will be subject to disclosure checks.
