Our client, a large manufacturing organisation based in North Ayrshire, require an Electrical Engineer.
The ideal candidate will have an electrical / electronic engineering background with a knowledge of PLC systems, variable speed drives, together with micro processor controlled machine and pneumatics, or posses an appropriate mechanical qualification in order to carry out mechanical repair and set up of inspection packaging equipment.
Hours are 37 hours per week Monday to Friday with flexibility in respect of start and finish times in order to meet customer / departmental requirements. Shift work may also be required, for which the appropriate shift allowance will be made.
The ideal candidate will have worked in a role requiring multi-disciplines and be able to operate as part of a team of engineers, supporting a high speed continuous process operation.
Experience of solid state and PLC machine control centres, HT Distribution networks, furnace control systems and non-destructive test equipment would be a distinct advantage
