Team leader Ayrshire East   c£25000

Applications are invited for the position of Team Leader within our client's manufacturing facility. 

This position reports to the Operations Director.

The job specification includes the following:

·        Leading a team of employees to achieve agreed key performance indicators

·        Driving 5S disciplines

·        Driving continuous improvement through lean initiatives to eliminate waste

·        Meeting quality standards, of both product and documentation

·        Training existing employees and new recruits

·        Ensuring good communication

·        Motivating and coaching team members

Experience of leading a team in a manufacturing environment is essential, as is a working knowledge & experience of 5S & lean manufacturing techniques.  Only those who are prepared to stand apart from the crowd, and who can motivate others, need apply.

You will be required to work a three shift, two week rotational pattern , however this may change in the near future.
