Management Accountant Ayrshire North   £30000 - £35000

Highly successful international manufacturing organisation seeks an experienced Cost/Management Accountant to join a growing team.

Applications are welcome from Qualified/Part Qualified Accountants with a proven track record in cost accounting/cost analysis and management accounting gained within a fast moving international manufacturing organisation.

Reporting to a Financial Controller your remit will span multiple business units and you will have a highly varied role.

Remit will include -

* All aspects of cost accounting and associated activities for  manufacturing facilities.

* Development of cost accounting and inventory systems and processes.

* Provision of regular manufacturing variance analysis spanning multiple business units.

* Inventory analysis and reporting

* Production of month end reports for the senior management  team to facilitate the decision making process.

* Maintaining product standard costs, inventory valuations and variance analysis.

* Management accounting activities.

* Provision of key reports detailing materials & production costs, cost of sales and new product development costs and analysis activities.

* Product margin reporting and analysis.

* Forecasting, planning & analysis activities.

* Ongoing development of new systems, processes and controls.

Candidates must have a cost accounting background together with strong IT skills.
