Customs Assistant Aberdeenshire   £21000 per annum

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a customs assistant to join a leading oil services company. Our client are seeking an enthusiastic and self motivated individual to work as part of a small office based team dealing with all Customs functions, including logistics, assisting in transport shipping through the handling of inward and outward paperwork / documentation and maintaining up to date records for all imports and exports.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Logistics / Customs

·Directly responsible to the Customs Assistant, dealing with all Customs functions, including logistics.
·Arrange transportation of equipment ensuring customs documentation is completed accurately as required.
·Ensure all imports / exports are carried out in line with HM Customs & Excise requirements / guidelines.
·Ensure all documentation relating to Customs & Excise is filed correctly and readily available for audits carried out by HM inspectors.
