Development Project Manager Glasgow   £ Competitive

Development Project Manager required to join market leading, award winning software house in Glasgow.

In this dual purpose role, you will be responsible for managing a team of analysts, developers and testers, as well as owning the client relationship.

Duties will include;

Development Management

Work closely with the customer on the ongoing pipeline of new requirements
Plan and coordinate 2 major releases per year on time and within budget.
Maintain detailed project plans
progress reporting
Manage a team of up to 10 development and support staff
Manage the Change Management process
Service Delivery

Authorise and document all IT Changes
Maintain a minimum amount of interruption
Manage the "Incident Management" process
Report on service levels
Manage budgeting and accounting
To be successful in this role, you will be an experienced Development Manager with demonstrable expertise in;

Essential Skills

Minimum of 10 years project management experience
Experience within large corporate clients
Solid working experience of Prince2 (Foundation or Practitioner qualified)
Expert user of Microsoft Project
Stakeholder management
Experience of working with and monitoring 3rd parties
Although this is definitely not a hands-on role you will previously have been a software developer
