Our Dundee based client is currently recruiting for a Translations Coordinator to manage and coordinate the delivery of high quality document translation to their increasing customer base across their global organisation.
You must have previous experience in a similar role where you will have gained valuable experience coordinating multiple projects and deadlines, while managing internal and external relationships and expectations to increase productivity and results.
As first point of contact for all translation enquiries you must be confident dealing with customers and colleagues at all levels while displaying excellent communication skills when liasing with internal and external agents throughout the globe. Ideally candidates will bring with them experience of dealing with customers or colleagues at an international level.
You will have excellent organisational and administration skills, and display confidence working in a pressurised challenging role where the requirement to multitask and prioritise a continually changing workload is essential.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Prioritise, coordinate and deliver translations projects from initial enquiry through to completion in accordance with agreed deadlines.
- Liase with both customers and colleagues to establish requirements and deadlines.
- Liase with external translators regarding requirements, providing supporting material and documentation to ensure prompt and cost effective solutions.
- Management of the translation service provider relationship to ensure accurate and high quality delivery, review service level agreements and obtain quotes while keeping accurate records of progress.
- Champion the role of translations and represent non-English speaking languages on all appropriate occasions.
- Develop and maintain close and effective working relationships with colleagues and internal teams involved in the translation process.
- Work with the management team to analyse translation projects, prepare business cases and budget and implement translation priorities.
- Process invoices received from translators to ensure correct and prompt payment.
- Budget and track translations expenses globally.
- Organise and attend meetings to review activities as required.
- Test and manage the review of translation user interfaces.
- Audit and maintain accurate records and databases of all translated materials
- Present reports and information to Senior Management and other colleagues when required.
- Other associated administrative tasks as required.
