Estimator Main Contracting Glasgow   £ Competitive

Our client is National Building Contractor who are involved in the procurement and delivery of 2 stage tender Design and Build Projects are currently looking to recruit an Estimator/Cost Planner. Currently projects are won via a combination of competitive tender, negotiation and repeat business.
The successful candidate will have experience of pre-contract cost planning and procurement of complex sub-contractor packages and the ability to produce accurate and effective cost / tender schedules for a range of mixed use projects. You will be am ambitious individual, be commercially aware and ideally have an excellent knowledge of the typical supply chain of Sub-Contractor's / Design Team partners in the Scottish market for major projects You should also possess strong IT skills and be able to communicate effectively at all levels.
Previous experience in a similar role within another main contractor would be a distinct advantage when being considered for this role.
