Kilmarnock College is seeking to appoint a bank of temporary lecturers to support the following curriculum areas:

·        Computing, Administration and IT

·        Sport and Fitness

·        Health and Social Care

·        Early Years

·        Business, Tourism and Hospitality

·        Hairdressing

·        Beauty

·        Motor Vehicle

·        Land Services and Construction

·        Engineering

You will contribute to ensuring a positive learning environment which encourages active participation and inspires all learners to achieve their full potential through supporting the development, delivery and assessment of course materials.

You will be qualified to HNC/HND Level or equivalent in the relevant subject area. You will also possess appropriate commercial experience within the relevant discipline, as well as excellent communication, organisation, presentation and interpersonal skills. Experience of designing, developing and delivering innovative and creative learning, teaching and assessment resources, is desirable. It is desirable, but not essential, that you hold, or are working towards, a degree qualification in the relevant subject area, or a professional teaching qualification.

Appointment to any post would be temporary, and the hours will be variable, dependent on the needs of the individual curriculum areas. When applying please specify the curriculum area(s) you are interested in.
